Books, exports and the rules
Paid invoices land in Xero as drafts, and quotes, invoices and payments export as CSV. Sumitt warns when a total crosses a Queensland, New South Wales or Victorian licence line, and never blocks.

Straight answers
Per thousand or per square metre?
Both. Brickwork supply and lay comes in common, face and double brick grades per square metre of face, blockwork in unfilled and core-filled series, and the laying rate and mortar materials per thousand for brickies who think in thousands. The hoddie is on by default because crews quote as a pair.
Piers, lintels and clean-down?
Piers, garden walls with piers, repointing, acid wash, lintels, ties and DPC and control joints are lines on the card. Say a brick fence with piers and the engine counts the piers and prices the run. Acid wash is on by default so the clean-down never gets given away.
Does the SWMS cover silica and scaffold?
The bricklaying hazard set covers cutting bricks and blocks, with wet-cut and respirator controls, laying and mortar work, and scaffold and elevated courses. The high-risk questions ask about silica controls, scaffold height and retaining walls. You confirm on site and sign.
Do builders pay before I string a line?
The client, builder or homeowner, opens the quote link, accepts, e-signs and pays the deposit by card or marks a bank transfer. Progress claims with their own pay links cover the longer walls, and variations are approved in writing.
