Is Sumitt up right now?

A check made on the server the moment you open this page. Not a marketing number: what answered, how fast, and what is watched between visits.

Everything is answering.

Web app
Responding
This page was built on the server just now, so the app is serving requests.
Database
Answering, 691 ms
One read, the same the health endpoint makes, cut off after 3 seconds. Every quote, invoice and payment lives behind it.

Checked at 01:24:18 UTC. Reload to check again (the result is held for a few seconds so a busy moment does not add load). The raw check is at /api/health, which answers 200 only while both the app and the database respond.

How it is watched between visits

Separately from this page, a scheduled job on GitHub, outside the hosting that runs the app, requests /api/health every 15 minutes and fails its run on any answer other than 200. A failed run emails the team. So a database outage is noticed within a quarter of an hour by the probe, not when a customer writes in.

Errors inside the app are reported to an error monitor as they happen, with the screen and the action that raised them, never with your quote or client data.

What this page does not show

  • An uptime percentage. Sumitt does not measure one yet, so this page will not print one. A figure without a measurement behind it would be a marketing number, which is the thing this page is not.
  • An SLA. Sumitt does not offer one. The commitments it does make, about your data and about notice if the service ever closed, are written down on the Your data page.
  • An incident history. There is no record to publish yet. When there is, it goes here, dated.

Latest changes

  1. Automation: receipts, clock-on, crew links, books that do themselves

Photograph a supplier receipt and its lines land on the job's real margin, with the receipt kept as evidence. You check the numbers before you save.

  2. Job costing, price books, Xero contacts and the bookkeeper pack

Timesheets and purchase orders on the job screen feed real-margin back-costing, so the gauge reads the job on what it actually cost.

  3. Business risk checks in the free trial, and a readability pass

The free trial now includes business risk checks: 10 checks and 10 watched businesses while the trial runs, nothing billed.

Every release, dated, is on the changelog.

Your data during an outage

If Sumitt is down, your records are not gone. Every account gets its whole dataset emailed to its own inbox on a schedule (weekly by default), and every export is a click away the moment the app is back. What you can take out, where it lives and the commitment if Sumitt ever closed are on Your data.
