Quote the sheet-and-set on-site. Get the deposit before you hang a sheet.
Board, set, cornice and render. Sumitt builds a tidy plastering quote in minutes, then texts your client a link to accept, e-sign and pay the deposit.
Your rate card builds the price while you walk the job. No kitchen-table maths at 9pm.
Your client opens the quote on their phone, picks an option and e-signs.
They pay the deposit on the same link, so the money is in your account before you begin.
Built for plasterers, not adapted for them
Every figure below is read from the Plastering rate card, takeoff engine and hazard library inside Sumitt when this page renders. It cannot say more than the product does, and it moves the day the card does.

Australian guide rates factored across 10 regions, every one of them editable. Guidance, not gospel.
The takeoff engine
Say it like this. The engine reads the scope, works out the quantities, prices them off your card and tells you what it assumed. Deterministic arithmetic; no AI touches the numbers.
- “60 m2 walls 13mm standard with 20m cornice”
- “hang and set 120 m2 and render the front fence 10 m2”
- “80 m2 of plasterboard”
The safety pack
A SWMS drafted from the job you priced, with the plastering hazard set on top of the common site hazards.
- Sheet hanging
- Setting & sanding
Priced lines add their own: Waste disposal & tip runs.
Extra PPE: Respirator (P2) when sanding; Eye protection overhead.
2 site questions to confirm before sign-off.
You review it against the site, edit it and sign. Sumitt prepares the paperwork; it does not assess your site or make your business compliant. Safety packs are part of Pro, and the free trial includes Pro.
Price books
Import your supplier’s or wholesaler’s price list and quote from real trade prices instead of a guide rate. Every line stays editable on the quote.
Books, exports and the rules
Paid invoices land in Xero as drafts, and quotes, invoices and payments export as CSV. Sumitt warns when a deposit sits over your state’s cap or a total crosses a state licensing line, and never blocks.
The Trade Rate Index shows the benchmark cost of the jobs plasterers quote most and the rates that leave a floor, healthy or premium margin, derived from the same rate cards. Not a survey, not advice.
Straight answers
Does it separate hang and set?
Yes. Board supply comes in standard, wet-area, fire-rated, acoustic and impact grades, hang labour is its own line per square metre or by the day, and set, tape and sand, skim and sand-and-prep sit in the finishing group. Compounds are priced by the bag at real bag prices.
Cornice, render and repairs?
Cornice supply comes in the cove sizes and a decorative profile, with install per lineal metre. Render, texture coat and venetian finishes, patch and repair per patch and water-damage ceiling replacement are all lines on the card.
Can I say the job and get a draft?
Type or say the wall and ceiling area, the board and the cornice run and the engine sets the quantities and prices them off your card. A mixed scope, board plus a rendered fence say, comes back itemised with a note that the scope was mixed.
Does the safety pack cover sheets overhead?
The plastering hazard set covers sheet hanging, with panel lifters, stilts and trestles, and setting and sanding, with dust and overhead eye protection controls. The high-risk questions ask about height and handling full sheets overhead. You confirm on site and sign.
