Straight answers
Does it price decks by board grade?
Yes. Decking supply and install comes in treated pine, merbau and composite at their own rates, stairs per riser in pine or hardwood, with balustrade, pergola frames, substructure-only rebuilds, demolition and fixings as lines. Framing, LVL beams, doors, skirting and gates cover the second fix.
Can I say the deck and get a draft?
Type or say the size, the board, the steps and the balustrade and the engine sets the quantities and prices them off your card. Mention the old deck and demolition and disposal come with it. The arithmetic is deterministic, not an AI guess.
Does the SWMS cover nail guns and height?
The carpentry hazard set covers cutting and machining, nail guns and fixing, and deck and frame work at height, with sequential-trigger, guard and edge-protection controls. The high-risk questions ask about height, nail guns and load-bearing alterations. You review and sign.
Do I get the deposit before the timber order?
Yes. The client opens the quote link, picks a package, e-signs and pays the deposit by card or marks a bank transfer, and the job opens with its paper trail. Variations are priced and approved in writing when the scope grows.
