Paid invoices land in Xero as drafts, and quotes, invoices and payments export as CSV. Sumitt warns when a total crosses a Queensland, New South Wales or Victorian licence line, and never blocks.

Straight answers
Is prep priced separately?
Yes. Surface prep and patching is its own line, per square metre or by the day, with undercoat, top coats, paint supply, ceilings, extra coats and caulking alongside it. Top coats come in standard, premium washable and low-VOC grades at their own rates.
Exterior work, roofs and access?
Render and texture coats, roof painting, gutters, fascia and eaves and scaffold or access hire are lines on the card. Type the scope and the engine tells you what it assumed about ceilings and rooms, so you can correct it before the price goes out.
Does the SWMS deal with lead paint and height?
The painting hazard set covers surface preparation, including testing suspect old paint before sanding, and coating application with fume, spray and height controls. The high-risk questions ask about work at height, lead paint in older buildings and spraying in confined spaces. You review and sign.
Can the client pick a spec?
Yes. Good, Better and Best packages let you offer standard, washable and premium finishes on one quote, and the client picks on the link before they sign. Optional extras, a feature wall say, are tickable by the client too.
