Build & sign the job’s safety pack

You’ll finish with: A SWMS drafted from your actual job, reviewed, signed and printable.

  1. Open the job from Jobs, then tap the “Documents” tab.

The Safety pack card sits at the top. It lives on the job, never as separate paperwork to hunt for. Site not in your list? Tap “+ New job”. Subbing on a builder’s site counts; Sumitt doesn’t need to have quoted it.

    In the app: Open Jobs

  2. Tap “Generate SWMS draft”.

Sumitt builds it from the job’s trade, scope, site and the cost lines you actually priced. Quote a pump and the pump hazards are already in. Prefer a JSA? Tap “JSA instead”.

  3. Read every task against the real site.

Tasks, hazards and controls are a starting point, not gospel. The amber “Confirm on site” questions are the ones that change everything. Answer them honestly.

  4. Tick the review confirmation, type your full name and tap “Sign this document”.

Nothing prints or exports until a person signs. That’s deliberate. Signing locks this version; if the job changes, generate a new draft.

  5. Tap “Print / save PDF” to keep or hand over the stamped copy.

It carries your business, the job, the version, who signed and when. The record lives on the job’s timeline either way.
